The excitement takes place May 7, 8, 9 and 10, providing plenty of opportunities for fun in San Diego. Gator by the Bay is the largest Louisiana-themed music and food festival this side of the bayou. Festival-goers can enjoy live music featuring over 85 musical acts on six stages, endless dancing, and 10,000 pounds of crawfish shipped in straight from Louisiana.

The musical acts are what really get this festival fun in San Diego going. The tunes are provided by nationally known Cajun and Zydeco bands, in addition to popular local Blues, Country Western and Latin/Salsa groups. The Cajun and Zydeco performers include BeauSoleil, Michael Doucet, the Euphoria Brass Band, Sara Petite, and the Sleepwalkers. There will even be a local Carmel Valley band performing. The Santana Brothers BAND will take the stage at 11 am on Sunday, May 10th. These young Carmel Valley musicians play blues-influenced rock & roll. Gator by the Bay doesn’t just provide fun in San Diego through the amazing music. This festival also offers up a variety of delicious foods.
