In just a short drive you can reach Mission Valley in 5 minutes and downtown San Diego in 15 mins. Kensington CA real estate has the best of both worlds by having  low-key atmosphere, but still easily accessible to city life. The best places to dine in Kensington are Ponce’s, Kensington Grill, and Fabulous Kensington. For night life, The Ken Club is a classic and one of San Diego’s best dive bars. The Ken Cinema is a lovely place to catch a movie. They also play classics and foreign films. For outside shopping the Westfield Mission Valley is the closest major shopping complex.

This is a walking community, but there is also public transportation with bus route 11. It is very easy to get around Kensington. Montgomery Field is just a few miles for more airport transportation. Kensington homes for sale are also near San Diego State University and National University. The San Diego Zoo is ten minutes away as well.
